Join us the afternoon of Sunday, September 13, for a special Red Door Arts event in the church at 4pm. Please join us!
The event is a reading of parishioner Barbara Sloan's recently published children's book: Play! Professor Dante Marlowe Browne’s Wonderfully Marvelous Amazing Historical Book of Playgoing Manners with Adventures and Anecdotes by his Friends Collins and Violet.
Pantry Success!
Thanks to all the members who donated school supplies to St. Andy's Pantry. During our three previous distributions we were able to help 60 families with a total of 123 children. I wish you could have seen the expressions on the faces of parents when I asked them if their children needed school supplies. It truly warmed my heart. Thank you for your generosity.
Saint Andy’s Food Pantry
We hope you’ll consider being with us tomorrow, Saturday, September 5, to share in the vital work of Saint Andy’s Food Pantry and Clothing Closet, along with Saint Clare’s Pet Food Pantry! We gather in the Parish Hall from 8:15am to 10:50am.
Saint Andrew’s Comes to YouTube
In the coming weeks, Saint Andrew’s will begin livestreaming our Sunday 10:30am Solemn Masses to YouTube rather than to our Facebook page, as we have done since the pandemic. We have created a new parish YouTube page, “Saint Andrew’s Birmingham,” and our first livestream will be Sunday, September 20! We invite you to like and subscribe to our new channel!

Help Needed!
Would you consider hosting Sunday Coffee Hour on the third Sunday of the month? If you’d like to try out being part of our Hospitality Guild, you can sign up to host one or more of the remaining four Third Sunday Coffee Hours before the end of the year. Thank you for considering!
Updated Streaming Technology!
We are very pleased to share that in the coming weeks, Saint Andrew’s will install updated video streaming and recording equipment that will complement the audio system upgrade installed last year. We are grateful to have received another Refresh & Renew Grant from the Diocese of Alabama to cover the expenses of this important project!
Documentary Viewing
On Sunday, August 30, during coffee hour, Saint Andrew's is hosting a screening of Life for Jeffery Lee, a documentary examining the case of Jeffery Lee, an Alabama man incarcerated on death row whose case raises serious questions about justice, mercy, and the value of redemption.
All are most welcome, so please spread the word!
