A Mass of Requiem for beloved parishioner Tommy McGlothlin will be offered at Saint Andrew's on Saturday, September 27, at 2:00pm. Together we will remember Tommy before God and acclaim the saving work of Jesus Christ, who in death upholds him in the life to come.
Red Door Arts Event
Saint Andrew’s will present a book reading and art show, sponsored by the Red Door Arts Guild, on Sunday September 28th at 5:00pm in the Nave.
Annual Parish Meeting
Please mark your calendar and plan to attend the first of our two-part Annual Parish Meeting on Sunday, October 26 at 12:15pm in Trinity Commons Student Center.
We will consider candidates and elect new members for the vestry and delegates to the diocesan convention elect three new vestry members and delegates for the 195th Diocese of Alabama Convention, scheduled for January 26, 2026.
The vestry’s Nominating Committee—made up of our outgoing vestry members, Elin Glenn, Barbara Sloan, and Phyllis Benington—will present a slate of candidates for the vestry and delegates to the diocesan convention. We will share the names of these candidates with you in the coming weeks, after they are approved by the vestry at its September meeting this Sunday, September 21. During this first session, the congregation will elect three new vestry members and delegates for the 195th Diocese of Alabama Convention, scheduled for January 26, 2026.

Join us Sept 26-28 at Camp McDowell as we explore building relationships across differences, practicing empathy, and embodying Christ-like peace in a program led by students from UNA in Florence. This retreat is for ages 18-24.
