ECW Debrief
The revival meeting of Saint Andrew's ECW (Episcopal Church Women) was held July 18 (click Read More for info). At our next meeting on September 19, we intend to elect officers, firm up plans and decide on a fundraiser to start off with.
House Eucharist Tonight Canceled
Please note that the House Eucharist originally scheduled for tonight, July 22, which was to have been hosted by the Red Egg Guild at David Gary’s home, has been CANCELED due to unforeseen circumstances.

"Bearing the Cross”
All are warmly encouraged to attend a joint-parish gathering this Monday, July 27th, for a final discussion of The Cross and the Lynching Tree (2011), a landmark work of Black liberation theology by the late Dr. James Cone.

This Sunday, July 19th, from 12:30–1:20pm, parishioners are warmly invited to join the opening portion of the July vestry meeting for a guest presentation on stewardship by Sarah Banks Bosu, Director of Mission Funding for the Diocese of Alabama.

Alabama Arise Annual Meeting
Mark your calendar for the 2026 Alabama Arise Annual Meeting in Montgomery at the Equal Justice Initiative Legacy Annex on Saturday, September 26th, 2026. Holy Water at Home
We've installed a holy water dispenser at the back of the church. We invite you to take a bottle home with you this Sunday, along with the sheet of prayers and instructions for use. Please consider a donation of $1.50 to cover the cost of the bottle.
Pride Parade 2026
A few notes from Saint Andrew’s Pride Parade Committee on the Parade tomorrow, June 13:
Saturday's 6/13/2026 parade line up spot is between 4th and 5th Ave South on 32nd street.
If you pre-registered and gave your waiver to the Committee, check in at the line up spot to obtain your arm band.
If you did not pre-register, take your waiver to the registration tent to obtain your armband.
Dress for the weather.
We will have cold water in a cooler on the truck.
Bring your beads, flowers, flags, tutus (Dane, etc.)

Pride Sunday 2026 | June 14th
This Sunday, June 14th, we celebrate Pride Sunday at Saint Andrew's, with specials prayers of intercession and thanksgiving for the dignity, belovedness, and gifts of all God's children. We'll offer the Eucharist to the glory of God and pray for the flourishing of our community.
