Movie Nights: Bending the Arc Project

‍Members of Saint Andrew's are invited to join our friends at All Saints' Episcopal Church for two movie nights featuring films from the Unitarian Universalist Church's "Bending the Arc Project." ‍

The films explore the long struggle against racism in Alabama, from the slave trade and the proliferation of slavery through the Civil War, Reconstruction, the violent backlash against emancipation, and the re-enslavement of African Americans through the convict leasing system.

The first movie night is this Wednesday, July 8th, from 6:00 - 8:00pm, with dinner provided. Please RSVP by Monday, July 6th for the sake of dinner numbers. Please join us for this lovely joint parish opportunity to learn, reflect, and engage in conversation together.
