An incredible day! We thank all those who helped organize Saint Andrew's participation in the 2026 Central Alabama Pride Parade, and warm thanks to our 43 parade goers who walked alongside parishioners and clergy from St. Mark's, Grace Church, St. Catherine's, St. Francis of Assisi, the Cathedral Church of the Advent, among others. Happy Pride, beloved!

We've installed a holy water dispenser at the back of the church. We invite you to take a bottle home with you this Sunday, along with the sheet of prayers and instructions for use. Please consider a donation of $1.50 to cover the cost of the bottle. 

A few notes from Saint Andrew’s Pride Parade Committee on the Parade tomorrow, June 13:

• Saturday's 6/13/2026 parade line up spot is between 4th and 5th Ave South on 32nd street.

• If you pre-registered and gave your waiver to the Committee, check in at the line up spot to obtain your arm band.  

• If you did not pre-register, take your waiver to the registration tent to obtain your armband.  

• Dress for the weather.

• We will have cold water in a cooler on the truck.

• Bring your beads, flowers, flags, tutus (Dane, etc.)

• Please share this information with anyone who may not see this announcement.

Summer is upon us, and we extend heartfelt thanks to our Parish Choir for their remarkable ministry among us this past year. Week after week, with diligence, faithfulness, and prayer, they have elevated our worship and led us ever more deeply into the heart of our worship. They continue to bless us in countless ways.

This Sunday, the Second after Pentecost, is the Feast of Corpus Christi, a celebration of the "Body of Christ," also known as the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ. On this day, the Church acclaims the real and saving presence of Christ in the Eucharist.

This Sunday the lay clerks will sing Thomas Tallis’ setting of text from Saint John’s Gospel “Verily, verily I say unto you.”

A big thank you! to everyone who has donated beach towels so far to support the Sawyerville Summer Camp of the Diocese of Alabama. We will continue to receive donations through the last week of May. 

Please drop off your donations either at church on Sundays or at the Parish Office, Monday through Thursday between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. 

This Saturday, May 23rd, from 10am to Noon in Trinity Commons, Saint Andrew's flower guild will lead a free workshop to create floral arrangements that will adorn the altar on the Feast of Pentecost! All are welcome, with or without experience!
