Sawyerville Summer Camp 2026 Donations!

Each year, Saint Andrew’s supports the incredible ministry of Sawyerville Summer Camp by collecting beach towels for the campers.

We will be receiving donations from this Sunday through Sunday, May 17. Towels may be brought to church on Sundays, or dropped off at the Parish Office Monday through Thursday between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Sawyerville Summer Camp is a free day camp for children and youth ages 6-14 living in Hale County, Alabama. In Summer 2025, we hosted three four-day camp sessions, welcoming over 600 campers and 200 volunteer staff. The staff are high school and college-age young people ages 16 and up. The staff come from all over the Episcopal Diocese of Alabama and the local community.

This summer’s camp theme is “Be the Light,” as we explore what it means to reflect God’s love and shine brightly in the lives of others through kindness, service, community, and joy. As we look forward to seeing how light will shine at Sawyerville this summer, thank you for sharing your light with our campers.
