A Ministry of Welcome: Ushers at Saint Andrew’s

One of the most essential ministries of our common life is the ministry of our ushers, who  are often the first faces of welcome on a Sunday morning, offering a smile at the door, helping newcomers find their way, assisting parishioners during the liturgy, and tending to the flow of our worship together.

More than directing traffic and distributing bulletins, ushers are ministers of hospitality, helping create a culture where all can pray with ease and peace. It is a ministry of attentiveness, kindness, and care.
