Caring for our Animal Companions

We invite you to get involved with Saint Clare's Pet Pantry, an incredible new ministry at Saint Andrew's. Below is more information that we have publicized to our beloved Birmingham community.

Our Mission
St Clare’s Pet Pantry is dedicated to supporting low-income families so they can remain together with their cherished pets. We accomplish this by providing pet food for dogs, cats, and birds, making it possible for families to continue caring for their animal companions through challenging
circumstances.

Location
Our organization operates from St Andrew’s Episcopal Church, (affectionately known as the Church with the Red Door) in the heart of downtown Birmingham. This central location enables us to serve the local community efficiently and ensure that help reaches those who need it most.

Our Broader Purpose
In addition to supporting families, St Clare’s Pet Pantry aims to reduce the number of pets entering overcrowded shelters. By supplying essential resources of food, we work to keep more animals in loving homes where they belong.

Additional Services
We also offer dog training services to help pet owners address behavioral challenges. This support fosters positive relationships between owners and dogs, contributing to a better environment for both pets and their families.

We have a vision that all people and animals are fed and happy in our beloved Birmingham Community.
