Welcome!
Our New Ministry Intern!
It is a gift to welcome Nic Dodson to Saint Andrew's this Sunday. He will be with us for 12 weeks as a part of his discernment process to Holy Orders in the Diocese of Alabama. He seeks ordination as a Deacon in the Church, and we are privileged to share this brief season in his journey. As part of this internship, Nic will share regularly in service at the altar on Sundays and other Holy Days, participate regularly in outreach projects and Christian formation, and more.
Below please find a brief note of personal introduction from Nic.

Greetings Saint Andrew’s!
My name is Nic Dodson, and I am so grateful and excited to have this opportunity to intern for the diocese in your community! A little about me: I am a “cradle” Episcopalian, baptized in 1979 at St. Stephen’s in Huntsville, confirmed in 1992 at St. Thomas in Huntsville, and I am currently attending/serving at The Episcopal Church of the Holy Apostles in Hoover, AL, where I am currently on the vestry and joyfully serve in and with many ministries within Holy Apostles and The Abbey Worshiping Community. I am divorced and have a beautiful fifteen-year-old daughter currently in the 10th grade at Hillcrest High School. I just celebrated my 21st anniversary with the State of Alabama where I have worked for the SSA Disability Determination Services as a supervisor. I am so excited to get to know each of you, serve for and with you and grow in this spiritual journey!
