Volunteers Needed for Saint Andy’s Clothing Closet

Saint Andy’s Clothing Closet is open on the first and third Saturdays of each month, in tandem with the Saint Andy’s Pantry’s regular food distribution. We need 2-3 volunteers to provide hospitality during the Closet’s distribution days on each of the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month from the hours of 8:00am to 11:00am.

About the Clothing Closet
As an extension of Saint Andy’s Pantry, the clothing closet offers clean, gently used clothing and other essential items to our neighbors in Five Points South and Glen Iris. We especially welcome:

  • Clothing for men, women, and children—especially lightweight options for warm, humid weather

  • Comfortable shoes and sandals

  • New socks and underwear (all sizes)

  • Adult and infant diapers

  • Personal care and hygiene products (toothbrushes, soap, deodorant, sunscreen, etc.)

  • First aid items (Band-Aids, OTC medication, sanitizer, etc.)

  • Clothing hangers

This ministry is already a beautiful testament to the generosity of our parish family and friends — thank you to everyone who has donated clothing and essential items in recent months. We are incredibly grateful.

Donations may be brought to the Parish Office (Monday–Thursday, 9am–2pm) or on Sunday mornings. Please ensure all donated items are clean and in good condition.

We’re always looking for additional volunteers to join this growing team! Whether you’d like to help with sorting, organizing, or offering hospitality on distribution days, your time and presence will make a meaningful difference.

To volunteer, please sign up by clicking the Volunteer button below. For more information, please email the parish office, below.
