Trinity Commons Deck Rebuild Complete

We’re thrilled to share that the deck at the Trinity Commons Episcopal Student Center has been fully rebuilt! After decades of wear and tear, the old deck had become unsafe and unusable—preventing us from renting the upstairs apartment to university students.

Thanks to diocesan funds designated for Trinity Commons and Birmingham Episcopal Campus Ministries, we began a five-month project to restore the space. The result is a beautifully crafted, sturdy new deck that enhances the building and restores the apartment as a welcoming home for students.

We’re grateful for the support that made this project possible! Trinity Commons remains a vital space of hospitality, formation, and community in the heart of the city—and the new deck helps us keep that mission going strong.
