We were very much looking forward to welcoming the Honorable U.W. Clemon as our guest this Sunday in our fall community speaker series, Problems of Mass Incarceration and Sentencing in Alabama. Unfortunately, Judge Clemon has had to withdraw on short notice and won't be able to be with us.

Rather than canceling, we are taking this as an opportunity to discuss, among other things, civil rights demonstration and mass arrests.
