Our Advent service of Choral Evensong will be offered on Sunday, December 14th, at 5:30 p.m., preceded by an organ prelude at 5:15 p.m. We invite you to join us for this contemplative and beautifully sung service as we enter more deeply into the quiet hope of the season.

Choral Evensong is drawn from the ancient monastic offices and weaves together psalms, prayers, and the traditional evening canticles, the Magnificat and Nunc dimittis. As daylight fades, the candlelit service gathers up the prayers of the day and sets them before God with joy. In Advent, this liturgy becomes a space where the Church keeps watch, waiting for the coming light, listening for God’s promise, and resting in the stillness of evening.
