All Saints' Sunday

November 2, 2025
8:00am - Holy Eucharist Rite I
10:30am - Holy Eucharist Rite II, with Solemn Procession and Pledge Ingathering

All Saints’ Day invites us to celebrate the great cloud of witnesses—the saints of every age, both well-known and often-overlooked, whose lives reflect the light of Christ, bound together with God’s people across time in an unbroken fellowship. We honor the celebrated saints of history, as well as those whose names are known to God alone. We give thanks for the saints of old and for those we encounter in the everyday moments of life—in our workplaces, at the grocery store, in our neighborhoods, churches, and schools. In each, the presence of Christ shines forth, reminding us that sainthood is born in the faithfulness of ordinary lives.

All Souls' Requiem: Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed
Monday, November 3, 2025

6:30pm Holy Eucharist Rite I

On All Souls’ Day the Church commemorates the faithful departed who have died in the living hope of Christ's resurrection. We remember them before God, acclaim the saving work of Christ, and bid light perpetual shine upon them.

We gather to intercede for our loved ones and friends who now rest in God's eternal care, and we pray that, united with them in the communion of saints—upheld by their prayers, inspired by their witness, and bound together in the life of Christ—we, too, may  share in the inheritance of the saints, the redemption revealed in Christ’s victory over the grave.

Saint Andrew’s will observe its annual All Souls’ requiem mass at 6:30pm on Monday, November 3. This service is commended especially to those whose loved ones died since November 2024.

Please forward the names of anyone for whom you wish the church to pray to Fr. Peter Helman (rector@standrewsbham.org).
