Saint Joseph's House Final Clearing Day

Dear friends,

A Call to Service: Saint Joseph's House Final Clearing Day

As we prepare to say farewell to our beloved Saint Joseph's House, we need your help this Saturday, May 17th, at 10:30am (following the food pantry distribution) to complete the final preparations before demolition begins on Monday, May 19th.

This is a chance to honor the legacy of this special building while ensuring its treasures find new homes throughout our campus.

Ways you can help:

·     Garden Ministry: We need green thumbs to tend the columbarium garden and transplant flowers, bushes, and perennials to new homes in beds around the church grounds

·     Heavy Lifters: Help move the antique wooden fireplaces and other historic items to the storage container near Trinity Commons Student Center

·     Organizing Team: Assist with relocating tools and various items from Saint Joseph's undercroft to the church's boiler room

·     General Assistance: Help with cleanup, sorting, and moving smaller items to their new locations

What to Bring:

·     Work gloves (if you have them)

·     Water bottle(s)

·     A willing spirit

·     Friends and family members who might lend a hand!

Even an hour of your time would be deeply appreciated. This is truly a case where many hands make light work, and your presence will help ensure we honor this building's history while preparing for our parish's future.

In gratitude,

Fr. Peter
