Youth Formation in Eastertide

In Christian formation this Sunday, we'll explore Acts 1:1-11, the story of Jesus' Ascension.

We continue our formation series this Sunday from 9:15 to 10:00am downstairs in Trinity Commons.

Here's a sneak peek for Sunday, as we read Acts 1:1-11 and the story of Jesus' Ascension:

We use a curriculum called StoryMakers, developed in New York within the Episcopal tradition. It is a creative, gospel-centered curriculum that invites young people to encounter Scripture through imagination, storytelling, art, and conversation, helping them discover how their own lives are woven into God’s great story.

"After forty days of traveling and being with the disciples, Jesus returned to heaven. He didn't just disappear, but he was called up to take up the throne with God the Father. Did you catch the detail about the two gents who appeared by his side in the sky? Who do you think they were? You see, Jesus had to leave according to God's plan, so our helper (the Holy Spirit) could be with us. But first Jesus came back to let all of creation know that he beat death, so we can have life forever! Isn't that amazing!"
