Healing Eucharist & Bible Study
Join us this Tuesday, February 10 for our study of the gospel of Saint Matthew. This week, we’ll read and discuss chapters 26-28, focusing on the death and resurrection of Jesus.

All are most welcome! We meet after the midday healing Eucharist in Trinity Commons Episcopal Student Center from 1:15pm - 2:30pm. We follow an informal course published online by Yale Divinity School. For more information, contact Fr. Peter Helman, Rector (rector@standrewsbham.org)

"The final three chapters of Matthew’s gospel follow Mark’s lead in telling of the passion, death and resurrection of Jesus. At each stage Matthew adds to Mark’s story material that addresses concerns of his community. The overall story will be familiar to most readers. We shall focus on the features that are distinctive of Matthew’s version, while keeping the historical situation of Jesus’ condemnation in view."
