Soup & Conversation

Holy Week is the heart of the Christian year and especially the "Paschal Triduum," or the three great days of Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and the Vigil of Easter.

This Tuesday evening, a simple meal of soup and salad will be offered in Trinity Commons at 6:30pm, and Fr. Peter will lead an informal discussion about the history and meaning of the Triduum, as a way of preparing for our observance of this week. Please join us! Come when you can and leave when you need to.

These are the sorts of questions we'll consider ...

  • What does Jesus’s act of washing feet teach us about the commandment to "love one another" in daily life? What does the Eucharist mean to you personally?

  • What does the cross reveal about who God is? How do you make sense of suffering in light of Jesus’s crucifixion?

How do you experience waiting or uncertainty in your own life? What might it mean to trust God when nothing seems to be happening?

  • How does the resurrection change the way we live now? What does it mean to be a “resurrection people”?
