Guest Speaker Series

Guest Speaker Series | Anthony Ray Hinton
Sunday, October 12 | 9:15am, Trinity Commons Student Center

This Sunday, we're honored to welcome Anthony Ray Hinton in our ongoing community speaker series, "Problems of Mass Incarceration & Sentencing in Alabama."

Mr. Hinton, author of acclaimed book The Sun Does Shine (2018), is Community Educator for the Equal Justice Initiative (EJI) in Montgomery. He spent 30 years on Alabama's death row for a crime he did not commit. Now, as one of the longest-serving condemned prisoners in state history to be exonerated, he shares his story around the world as a witness for justice, truth, and restorative justice.

The presentation, free and open to the public, will be held at 9:15am in Trinity Commons Episcopal Student Center (1170 11th Ave. South), with parking adjacent to Saint Andrew's.

All are most welcome!
