Ash Wednesday & Lent

Lent is our school of repentance and self-giving. Through prayer, fasting, and almsgiving, we learn again who we are, whose we are, and where our journey leads: to Easter joy, and to life made whole in God.

Lent begins on February 18 with our solemn observance of Ash Wednesday, and three services will be offered that day at 8:00am, 12:15pm, and 6:30pm, each including the imposition of ashes with the familiar words, “Remember that you are dust, and to dust you shall return.” 

On Wednesdays at 5:30pm throughout Lent, we will gather in the church at 5:30pm to pray the Stations of the Cross.
