Throughout Epiphanytide, we will be using a different Mass setting at the 10:30 am High Mass. Most likely, this Mass setting is being used for the first time at Saint Andrew’s so do take some time to study the different parts! The setting was composed for the Hymnal 1982 by Gerald Near, an American composer born in 1942. They seem a bit intimidating at first, but with a few moments of practice, I am sure we will all grow to love the setting! The numbers in the hymnal are S-279 (Gloria), S-131 (Sanctus), and S-166 (Agnus Dei).
